Alcoa Tennessee
The Alcoa Tennessee was established before World War I and has a very long history of Aluminum production. Unfortunately, vast quantities of asbestos were used over the years at the Alcoa TN facility. Among the products that may have been in use were products manufactured or supplied by Johns Manville, Owens Corning Fiberglas, Childers MFG., U.S. Gypsum, Harbison-Walker, AP Green, Phillip Carey, Austin Asbestos, Chicago Firebrick, Carborundum, Quigley Co., Louisville Insulation and Supply Co, Lovell Insulations, Eagle-Pitcher, GAF Corp., Plibrico, Stanton, Glasrock Products, Iowa-Illinois Thermal, Electric Supply, Globe Machinery, Sauereisen Cements Co., as well as some Carey products. Cappolino Dodd Krebs, LLP is aware of many more specific products used at this facility.
